I'll vote Kabar fighting knife, because it's on your list and it's always been a tried and true classic. If you want to see the 'ultimate' survival knife, check out the "Dog Father" by Scrapyard knives. [ link to www.scrapyardknives.com] and this demo-vid: [ link to www.youtube.com] With this one in my BOB, I don't need to carry a hatchet, shovel, machete etc. This sucker is as tough as it gets. Good luck finding one. Their customer service sucks from what I've read, and their products don't seem to last very long. It looks very nice in the pictures and video, but from what I can tell it's all show and no go.
