Yes you will receive bad karma even if you don't deserve it. It's like a popularity contest. I agree to a certain extent. I think that the bad karma I have received for this thread, I can hopefully make up for by being a good productive member who adds to the topics being discussed. Or I can find copyright violations, lol. And probably, most of the people who give out red karma to people who truely do not deserve it, probably have a lot of red themselves. And therefore would not be able to give it out if this modification to the karma system happens. |

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

Artlicious (OP) User ID: 1342007 United States 08/16/2011 05:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just realized something. It is my opinion that Trinity, possibly, does not care too much about the negative karma's going around or how they are being abused. At the moment at least. Why? Because the karma system was implemented for one main reason... to get GLP members to police each other better, to help GLP stay clean, legal and online! Good Karma has been set up to help: 1) Cut down on copyright violations, which can be very bad for GLP. 2) Cut down on death threats, web hacking threats and threats of illegal activity. 3) Encourage unique topics to be posted and hopefully be important enough to be pinned. From what we know so-far, Bad Karma really has no purpose and is ripe for abuse from members. Last Edited by Artlicious on 08/16/2011 06:00 PM |
