I fly out Tuesday. Hope I can get out of here safely..All ports are closed.No ferries no planes flying in or out till further notice....I pray it does not strengthen.....

Lastest winds as of 11PM 70MPH next recon a/c will go up at 2AM. I have family on the island and they are already reporting lots of rain strong winds and down trees.

yeah its really rare for these systrms ta hit florida thats why there is a fla.peninsukla if every storm hit fla.costline the coastline would run from tallahasse to jacksonville hurr. charly was an anomally the perfect storm itd 145 mph winds ploed a 1000 ft channel across a barrier island a once in a centiry event they totally overplay it ta keep peeps watchin.

Irene is not going to tear up on Island mountains and going more north now. This will be a stronger storm than thought on Sunday and the East of Florida and East coast will be put on alert.

Could end up being major storm
