I've been trying to get enough Karma to buy a damn avatar. No money, and not enough, so I feel his pain!

Then some asshole gave me bad karma today as I was getting closer, just because I accidentally posted an old link, instead of the current one for the same story. History of China pulling out of buying treasuries was posted back in 2008, and then again here in August of 2011, I accidentally grabbed the 08 story.

As an AC I do not have to worry about being banned for too many negative karma points?..Is this correct?

A registered user can get banned for negative Karma points? I thought it was just to judge a users reputation.

Just got two more negative karma points...violated posting rules (abusive posts). I just do not understand what is going on here. My thread was removed, the one asking about terminology used here.
