NATO mercenaries and terrorist rebels are trapped in the center of Tripoli, surrounded by loyalist forces.

U.S. is apparently ordering the killing of independent journalists in Libya, fearful of the accurate and truthful reports they are sending, unlike the compromised news networks such as CNN (CIA), BBC (MI6), Jazeera (Qatar Emir), Al-Arabiya (Saudi owned).

With the Internet and communications cut off by NATO, they were able to tell many lies and entire TV news bulletin fabrications. Now that communications are being restored, the truth is starting to emerge again, and it is not pretty for NATO.

I find it funny that the updates I have been giving over the last 24 hours from Mathaba and other sites which are totally different from Al-Jazeera/BBC/CNN etc.. are then later confirmed on RT and finally admitted on Al-Jazeera/BBC/CNN etc..

At one point Italy was Gaddafi's closest ally, but since the defeat of Gaddafi foreign interests have already swarmed the Transitional National Council to persuade them to sell Libyan oil as soon as possible. Also the terrorist rebels don't control Tripoli airport they use the highway to land small planes for their supplies. This was shown live on TV, with a broadcast failed to be cut off by NATO.

The mercenaries on the perimeter of the Corinthian Hotel and trying to enter Green Square, but the green masses are steadfast in all of Tripoli except Gergaresh and some areas in the west.

NATO-supported rebels entered a hospital and killed all the patients thus committing yet another heinous crime.

Muammar Gaddafi vanishes after promising to fight to the death. Isn't that just what Saddam Hussein did? And of course, when Saddam disappeared and US troops suffered the very first losses from the Iraqi insurgency in 2003, we were told – by the US proconsul Paul Bremer, the generals, diplomats and the decaying television "experts" – that the gunmen of the resistance were "die-hards", "dead-enders" who didn't realise that the war was over. And if Gaddafi and his egg-headed son remain at large – and if the violence does not end – how soon will we be introduced once more to the "dead-enders" who simply will not understand that the lads from Benghazi are in charge and that the war is over? Indeed, within 15 minutes – literally – of my writing the above words (2pm yesterday), a Sky News reporter had re-invented "die-hards" as a definition for Gaddafi's men. See what I mean?

Needless to say, all is for the best in the best of all possible worlds as far as the West is concerned. No one is disbanding the Libyan army and no one is officially debarring the Gaddafi-ites from a future role in their country. No one is going to make the same mistakes we made in Iraq. And no boots are on the ground. No walled-off, sealed-in Green Zone Western zombies are trying to run the future Libya. "It's up to the Libyans," has become the joyful refrain of every State Department/ Foreign Office/Quai d'Orsay factotum. Nothing to do with us!

But, of course, the massive presence of Western diplomats, oil-mogul representatives, highly paid Western mercenaries and shady British and French servicemen – all pretending to be "advisers" rather than participants – is the Benghazi Green Zone. There may (yet) be no walls around them but they are, in effect, governing Libya through the various Libyan heroes and scallywags who have set themselves up as local political masters. We can overlook the latters' murder of their own commanding officer – for some reason, no one mentions the name of Abdul Fatah Younes any more, though he was liquidated in Benghazi only a month ago – but they can only survive by clinging to our Western umbilicals.

Each NATO warplane that passes over Libya's coast and releases its ordnance upon the city of Tripoli is a glaring reminder that not only have the NATO-backed rebels failed to take the city, but the fighting there is beyond their ability to face without constant air support. As each bomb tears through Tripoli's already NATO-battered infrastructure - most recently destroying a fire station in the Abu Salim district - the world is given daily affirmations of just how duplicitous and premature NATO's desperate claims of "victory" were, made now nearly a week ago. To add injury to insult, UK's Foreign Secretary William Hague was imploring South Africa to release funding to NATO's proxies in Benghazi and suggested that failing to do so would be "risking a humanitarian disaster." Hague has not yet explained how the persistent aerial bombardment of a heavily populated city isn't already causing a verified humanitarian disaster.

I wish we had more updates to the battle for Tripoli, what sources are you guys following?

They are VERY limited. Basically a few twitter feeds and some independent news sites.. Look back in this thread for the links.

I am trying to only post stuff I can at least confirm on a minimum of 2 sites.. lots of bias on both sides..

All is basically quiet right now.. It's the middle of the night in Libya right now. There should be fresh updates in a few hours.

Al-Jazeera, BBC / Reuters / even presstv.ir seem pretty biased. Russia Today is very quiet about it, same reports over and over.

I dont think that it's necessarily "Gaddafi" winning.

The Libyan people are winning...and they just so happen to support Gaddafi.

I am just so fucking angry that people are behind NATO.

I know that you and others are aware of that huge gathering that Gaddafi had in Tripoli.

There were thousands...in green square I think.

For some reason, this humongous rally was ignored by the MSM.

That was when I decided to completely cut off the MSM perspective.

Even RT ignored it.
