What is going on in Tripoli seems to depend on who you talk to and the more you try to discover that is happening, the more it appears that there are two Tripolis - the one in Libya and another one stashed away somewhere in cyber space, on a pink cloud bathed by television blackouts, NATO cyber terrorist activities and clear breaches on the UNSC Resolutions.

1. NATO violation of international law

I have received numerous reports - being checked - of NATO special forces on the ground in Tripoli trying to aid the terrorist forces they control. This is a clear violation on UNSC Resolutions 1970 and 1973 (2011) and occasions a breach of international law in this case allegedly by France and the UK.

What are these forces doing becoming involved in an internal conflict? What is Cameron doing supporting armed Islamist terrorists, who perpetrated the most horrific outrages upon entering Tripoli, far worse than the thugs at home in the UK? So at home he condemns these acts of violence while he supports Al-Qaeda elements abroad? David Cameron spends 32 million pounds a week supporting people who kidnap and rape women, rape girls, impale small boys with stakes and carry out massive looting?

Despite dramatic rebel strides and momentum, pro-Moammar Gadhafi forces toughed it out on Wednesday, striking back at Libyan rebels in several volatile pockets across Tripoli.

Gadhafi forces shot at least seven mortars into Gadhafi's Bab al-Aziziya compound, a day after rebel fighters captured the symbolic heart of the Libyan ruler's regime.

If rebels seize the hotel where the journalists are staying expect all Non-CNN-CIA independent journalists to be killed!

As usual the media spin is in full force! Gadhafi troops are not holding them hostage, they are free to leave despite reports. What journalist in their right mind would go out into a war zone??

Seems they are moving to a guerrilla warfare...

NATO is killing innocent people because of oil and sadist motives of eliminating Gadhafi. The ICJ should prosecute Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy for crimes against humanity. African leaders and the Arab world help Gadhafi as the legitimate government not rebels. It is also very painful to hear that secret agents of France, America and British are on the ground in Libya to help find the whereabouts of Gadhafi, is this within the so called mandate of 1973 UN resolution?

US Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain has lashed out at Russia, saying it could be the next country to experience a Libya-style uprising.
But Senator McCain has a very far-fetched outlook, believes RT's Washington correspondent Gayane Chichikyan.
McCain is sure that the Arab Spring will rage on and will make it to countries like China and Russia, which according to him “need democracy” just as Libya does.
At some point he even said that Libya has already achieved democracy, which is far from reality according to the situation on the ground.
Even as the National Transitional Council takes over in Tripoli, it is not the government chosen by the Libyan people. And many Libyans are outraged by the fact that foreign powers have essentially made this choice for them.

Most areas of Tripoli, including Abu Slim and the plateau green, and Aziziyah, were safe and under the control of the Libyan Army and the Revolutionary Guard. Violent clashes were occurring in Tajoura and some areas of the Friday Market (Souk El Jouma).

Thanks Nexus! I think you are vindicated also about the MSM fakery of the green square. The BBC was showing footage from India & claiming it to be Libya. I guess they don't know the difference between a Libya flag and one from India or they think the sheep won't catch on.

When they all gather in Tripoli and it is full of rebels and terrorists , Gaddafi will either blow the capital up or release chemical agents, well atleast this is what I could've done in such a circumstance :P

In my opinion an action like this would not be wrong. Libya has been invaded illegally. Whatever means of self defense they take is justified. NATO is using depleted uranium on their country, it is considered to be WMD. Under UN regulations if a country is attacked with WMD they are legally entitled to return such attacks in kind.

Gaddafi has told the Libyan people that his retreat from his compound in Tripoli, which was seized by rebels on Tuesday, is a tactical move. Michael Maloof, an ex-Pentagon official, explains to RT why the war in Libya is far from at an end.
After almost six months of stalemate, the rebel assault on Tripoli came as a surprise to many. But strategically speaking, some analysts find the rebels advance has left them spread thinly and therefore vulnerable to a counter-attack by loyalist forces.
“Two thousand tribes have pledged support to Gaddafi. We have not heard of them yet,” remarks Michael Maloof, who used to be an official at the Pentagon.
Maloof believes Gaddafi’s leaving Tripoli to the rebels “could be a strategic retreat on his part to begin waging guerilla warfare.” And the colonel still has the means to do that.

Rebels in Tripoli have restored to Green Square the name it had before Gaddafi took power in Libya over four decades ago. The rebels’ movement is gaining wider international support each hour, while Tripoli is plunging deeper into combat.
Intensive fighting has erupted in the center of Tripoli. The Rixos hotel, where most international journalists have been housed, is right in the crossfire. The hotel was reportedly hit with live ammunition.
The building has lost power and there is no food, journalist Thierry Meyssan told RT from the hotel. Meyssan, the founder and chairman of the online newspaper the Voltaire Network, added that the hotel is surrounded by tribes. The journalist expects the fight this night to be as violent as on Sunday night.
“NATO has lost a lot of assets this afternoon, as there was the government’s counter-offensive,” Meyssan said. “They ousted the rebels from the greater part of the city.”

“I have a feeling that the government is luring the rebels in, allowing them to have fun on Green Square and then very well counter-attacking them,” Dr Lamb told RT, adding that it looks like the end is near.

Independent journalist Lizzie Phelan who is in Tripoli says allowing the rebels inside the capital could well be a strategic move on the part of Libya troops who have corralled the rebels into a single location.
She argues that loyalist forces remain in de facto control of the city.
Most of the rebels who are not busy looting are now gathering on the Green Square in the center of Tripoli waving flags.
“What we have heard is that the strategy of the Libyan government and army was to permit the rebels into the city because previously they have been operating in a sneaky manner and it was very difficult to know who they were and where they were hiding, so that they could be dealt with in a direct manner,” the journalist says, adding that if this information proves true – it would be interesting to see what NATO undertakes to support the rebels on the ground.
Meanwhile, there are reports that an assault on Muammar Gaddafi’s last stronghold – Bab al-Aziziyah compound – has started. The colonel’s whereabouts are unknown.
Reports say rebel forces are controlling most of the capital, Tripoli, with the exception of government residences in the city center.

Reports from Tripoli, not yet confirmed, say that Libyan leader Muammar Al Qathafi and two of his sons Hannibal and Mua’atsam have left Libya escaping the advance of the rebels on Tripoli tonight.

February 24th, just one day after the "genocide news," the International Criminal Court dismisses that man: "A clarification on media information regarding the ICC position on the Libyan situation is necessary. Various media sources have published information regarding the situation in Libya attributed to Mr Sayed Al Shanuka (or El-Hadi Shallouf), presented as a "member of the International Criminal Court" (ICC).

The ICC wishes to clarify that this person is neither a staff member nor counsel currently practicing before it, and by no means can he speak on behalf of the Court. Any declaration he made is given solely in his personal capacity.

The only official position to date is the ICC Prosecutor's statement, published on 23 February 2011. The decision to seek justice in Libya should be taken by the Libyan people. Currently, the Libyan State is not a Party to the Rome Statute. Therefore, intervention by the ICC on the alleged crimes committed in Libya can occur only if the Libyan authorities accept the jurisdiction of the Court, (through article 12(3) of the Rome Statute).

In the absence of such a step, the United Nations Security Council can decide to refer the situation to the Court. The Office of the Prosecutor will act only after either decision is taken."
