Allergies are awful worse then ever even with Zyrtec -- Eyes constantly running and nose too. Ragweed, I'm sure. I live in Northern Virginia. The hell with the earthquake--Didn't bother me much and I was not too far from the epicenter at the time in Kings Dominion north of Richmond. Glad I wasn't on a ride or the Drop Zone when it came. Now a hurricane.

I don't recall feeling this bad at all. I also have a friend just up the street from me that is suffering badly. I felt the tremour while on the 6th Floor of a building in Toronto.

Mine are ALWAYS the worst in August. Where I live August is cotton-defoliant time. I'm 99% sure that's what bothers me, since nothing much is blooming now. I HATE that stuff. It's basically a weaker version of Agent Orange. Good luck. I've developed an allergy to chlor-trimeton which is the only antihistamine that ever worked for me. I used to have bad allergies this time of year, but don't have much if anything this year. I ate a coule of teaspoons of local honey a few days a week for several weeks. Also am still taking Vitamin D, C and fish oil. One of these things has helped my allergies tremendously.
