New VirginiaEQPoll: Do you think the Virginia EQ was a one-time event?
1. Yes, show's over, these EQs are rare; there may be a few aftershocks but . . .
2. No. The EQs on the East Coast are just starting to heat up; the Virginia EQ was the first bubble in a pot of water starting to boil OMG . . .

Good question…logic would say yes it will happen again but also “again” might be several years down the road.

Its not a one time event, but Geologic time is frustratingly slow.

Picture the time travel to the future scene in the origional "The Time Machine" - the 'solid' earth surface acts more like a liquid over time.

New Madrid may be soon though - large EQs equadistant from the fault line, and an oil well still erupting...
