With your understanding of the concepts of supply and demand, I'll just bet you are super wealthy.

The person who thinks that increasing the supply to outstrip any possible demand would somehow make an item MORE valuable, rather than less.

Value is increased by two things: Short Supply or Panic (Bubble) buying.

Gold, for instance, has a limited supply (on earth anyway), but it's not really good for much. So the increase in price at this moment is all panic/bubble buying.

If the Moon was suddenly discovered to be pure gold, the gold on Earth would be worth absolutely nothing. $0 dollas.

Diamonds are exactly the same. There are plenty of them, but the diamond cartels drive up the price by keeping the supply low and by using Hollywood (and other mass media markets) to promote their product.

If cartels did not run the diamond market and people were allowed to just mine and refine diamonds, they would be worth pennies. Literally. They have almost no value other than some industrial uses.

If they could mine a planet made of diamonds, wouldn't diamonds become almost worthless pretty quickly? I mean surely it is their scarcity that makes them valuable?

I would think about it being a "Diamond Planet" BUT a Stripped Dwarf!


This is only the second time a planetary mass has been found orbiting a pulsar. The first planetary system outside of our solar system was discovered around a pulsar in 1992.


In the case of pulsar J1719-1438, the beams regularly sweep the Earth and have been monitored by telescopes in Australia, Britain and Hawaii, allowing astronomers to detect modulations due to the gravitational pull of its unseen companion planet.

The Diamond planet, is a distraction. I believe we are finding more planets, dwarfs, pulsars, comets, asteroids, ect. because we have entered the galactic center. We will see things we have never seen before.

imho, We are closer to the throne of God Himself in Heaven, and will continue to see an increase of UFOs, planets, dwarfs, pulsars, comets, asteroids, ect.


Maybe even planets & Objects made of Gold, Amethyst, Emerald, Jasper, and Pearl!

Why? If diamond is that abundant, it is not really worth that much anymore eh

Probably find such dense carbon objects in the asteroid or oort cloud of our own solar system, even

The only problem is it's 4000 light years away. Given our current technology it would take 80,000 years to get there give or take a few thousand years.
