My favorite is how quickly people are willing to cry CGI whenver there is legitimate video footage of news events. But then, when there is a UFO video, anyone who calls it CGI is a "shill".

Debunking is OK. If your intellect finds a flaw in logic, or the poster is just confused :) it is your responsibility to prove the thread is a waste of energy. Or just call them on it.

I consider myself a sort of reformed conspiracy theorist. After all those years of fear, paranoia, and rage toward 'TPTB' I can now see the same scenario from different angles and even try to employ a higher consciousness in order to understand WHY things are the way they are. No longer do those negative emotions have ahold of my psyche. Wtf indeed.

All you need to know about conspiracies : Watch the news in your local area.Watch the network news. If ,after watching the "news" ,you can be satisfied with it you are owned. The other key thing with conspiracies is the disinformation that is churned out by the multi billion dollar intelligence "community". The big one is the total manipulation of the populace through media. If that isn't a conspiracy ,nothing is. Once at square one, it is all about the blue pill or the red pill. If not, you can just avoid the rabbit hole and go on your merry way. Most do just that and are just fine. G.L.P. has the elect that are basically seekers of truth. They care not to be manipulated and dare to accept the quest for truth. The beauty of G.L.P. is we can challenge and debate our ideas and share our personal thoughts,opinions and ideas. That is why this site rocks and is why the editorial page in the newspaper is the most widely read.

I'm sold on the idea that some conspiracy theories are put out there just to make those of us who look into this stuff look crazy.

i debunk theories all the time. i am a conspiracy theorist and accept conspiracies only if they make sense.

i especially hate it when people here make a thread about a conspiracy without backing up their statements with credible sources. i also really hate it when people make predictions and have no proof, credible sources, and don't explain their reasoning.

i think rationally and logically, if the theory doesn't make sense or in some cases coincide with science. i disregard the conspiracy.

I noticed that again this morning, watching the history channel. They seem to find the most ill-informed whackjobs to propose any theory outside of mainstream thinking, for a reason. Hey, that's a conspiracy right there!

I mean I've seen a ufo up close, but I can't prove it, and I can't assume it was the Anunnaki coming to steal my ovaries or whatever. Why would I? Where I live everyone sees shadow people. It's the reality we live in, but how to convince others of this reality when they have nothing to do with it? And what would be the point?

(I do still have a few topics that piss me off though, like the gm foods/fake sugar/pharmie agenda, but as long as they don't try to force that shite on me, I can't MAKE them care, even if I do.)
