Re: I actually have lost the want to live.
you're inability to deal with financial and personal loss is directly proportional to the value you place upon it. if you place little value on material things or such, then losing is it not that bigga deal. ive lose an unbelievable amount of money over the last 18 months. my life has dramatically changed...paper wealth disappeared.

but i put no personal value on it...i was broke before i earned it, grew it and lost it..and ive learned to have fun on nothing...i actually dont miss it at all and am happier without it.

good luck...get your priorities straight and remember, if there was no such thing as money, we would all be rich!

Thank you, that means alot to me hfhf

No problems bro. just remember that you are not alone. many are going through tremendous loss right now. many of us never thought it would happen to us. but the way to deal with it is stay positive, and just let go of the things you cant control...take one issue at a time and then move on to the next when it comes up....never ever let it keep you up at night...cause you cant do anything about it anyway.

bring friends and family close even if you have to forgive wrongdoing, love those that love you even more, and enjoy that which is available to you.

its a new way of life that we all have to get used to...things are different..and we just have to adapt whether we want to or not. will it be the way it was...probably not..but we can adjust and still be happy.

never let go!

Seriously I thank you so much friend. I have just saved that post in Notepad. It's like you (combined with everyone here at GLP) are speaking straight to my heart. I'm forever thankful. I really hope I can take the support I have found in this thread into my everyday stride.

You and everyone with advice in this thread are true blessings, I am thankful endlessly. If there was a was to glorify you properly I would do so :)

Re: I actually have lost the want to live.
I have been there and almost done that, and I had every available weapon to combat that feeling available to me including the one which ultimately sustained me.

All I can say is keep on keeping on. This life is nothing but a test. Yep, a test of whether you will stop focusing on yourself and start focusing on the real reason we are here....which is to realize that love conquers ALL things.

But it must be hard in our lives for us to grow spiritually like that, otherwise all we see is OUR own troubles and start to focus only on ourselves, which leads to depression because "our" lives are really bad at the moment.

But once you realize that this life is just a test, and your real life will begin only after this brief physical one is over the problems in this life become much easier to manage and deal with in a positive light.

You may have heard and know about Jesus, but if you rejected Him already, why? Your not exactly happy now are you. Have you tried listening to someone who has been through the same thing and overcome them?

I have, and yet my life is no better than yours most likely, yet I have been sustained by the ultimate power in the universe.

Click on the following link and really give the plan some thought. I wouldn't be taking so much time to write all this if I didn't care for you...so you see, you are loved by millions of "strangers" just like me, and isn't that something to be happy about my new friend?

You tried it your way...now try it God's way and see if it doesn't bring you some relief. God Bless.

OP, pull yourself up by the boot straps. Start loving yourself and things will fall in line.

Can't love others till you take care of yourself. It is all about you right now. Afterwards, you will be able to guide others in their personal hell's.

Best regards.

Well I look at it this way. What ever comes something else follows.I know we could lose modern day technology and life would change. But I guess I still remember what many would call the old days and if I had a choice I would rather live the way it was back then.
Yes it would be drastic for many at the start but the ones that made it past the initial tragic start would live better lives.I often think back to how it was enjoying a visit. The chats, etc. No cell phones in site nor very many home phones.People had to relate to each other.Thats whats wrong now.

Re: I actually have lost the want to live.
OP, you may have lost your want to live but it can be found again. Life is all about perception. When you feel you've come to a broken bridge on your road consider floating downstream, or hiking the trail to get to where you want or need to be. By changing your perception you'll realize that these are the challenges in life that we must embrace to learn lessons that we need to learn...how to navigate through life, the good, the bad and the ugly. This is how we build character and evolve into the loving, appreciative race we need to be.
Please don't put God into some little human package. He's massive, as is his love and mercy for us. Turn to him NOW and don't stop until you feel his love.
Opting out physically is not an option. The hurt and devastation left behind is what God will not be very merciful about.
Keep talking till you find you're way across the broken bridge. There is ALWAYS another way and if you think there isn't it's your perception and not reality.

We always have a friend in Jesus Christ. Pick up His Word, pray, read, absorb it, and be changed.

"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour." John 12:25,26
Quoting: A Voice In The Wilderness

I have thought about Jesus alot, but Jesus could never forgive me.
 Quoting: Far-Reaching

I appreciate your honesty. I was deeply impressed to write the following and I hope you will read it. :)

Many have thought as you do. However, I am super happy to tell you that you could not be more wrong, friend. It is God's everlasting promise that ANYONE who is genuinely sorry for what he has done/said/thought and who comes to Him in prayer to ask for forgiveness, with a repentant heart of no longer wanting to do that evil thing, will be forgiven, no matter how abhorring the sin may have been.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

"No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jeremiah 31:34

Did you catch that last part? We humans have a tendency to forgive others, especially loved ones, for bad things they may have done to us or put us through. But, how often does an individual actually chooses to forget about what the other person has done to them? How often does the one who was harmed makes a conscious decision in his mind, for as long as he lives, to never bring up the 'sin' of the one he forgave, and actually stick with it? We know the answer is: barely ever.

What is one of the fascinating things about how much your Creator cares for you is the fact that He tells you loud and clear that as long as you walk in His light, all the sins you confessed to Him He no longer remembers. He chooses to look at you as if you have never committed that act. You are then clothed in Christ's robe of spotless righteousness for as long as you walk with God and He considers you as His own son/daughter and treats you as such.

We have a further promise that should bring us great encouragement.

"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." Psalm 89:34

"I have sworn, and I will perform it." Psalm 119:106

JEHOVAH is bound to His perfect law of liberty. His law, summarized in the ten commandments, is the transcript of who He is, thus God will never murder, steal, or tell a word of falsehood. What He says is and will be, and there's nothing anyone can do to change that. This, of course, includes Him saying that He forgives and forgets our sins when we come to Him.

Now, I want you to see something absolutely amazing with me.

If you think the God of Heaven cannot forgive for whatever it is you may have done, ponder this:

In Revelation 21 we are given a description of YAHVEH's most beautiful city, called New Jerusalem, in which He currently resides with all the angels and other unfallen beings. Remember Jesus' words in John 14:2, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

New Jerusalem is where Jesus had gone to prepare literal mansions for those who accept Him as Savior and King. Each of the millions of the righteous ones will each be given a mansion to dwell in, personally made for them by the hand of Jesus Himself. The city is 1,500 miles in length, width, and height, so don't worry it will never get crowded. On top of this, each of the saved ones will be able to have another house/home in the earth that will be made new. On top of THAT, each of us will be able to traverse the entire universe, exploring all the galaxies, nebulae, other worlds with life on them, and nowhere does it say that we will not be able to have a dwelling place there as well... I can't wait!

Getting back on track, part of the New Jerusalem is described in Revelation 21:12 as, "And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel."

Notice that the 12 gates of the Holy City each have a name of one of the twelve sons of Jacob. I'm sure you've heard of Ruben, Simeon, Joseph, Levi, Benjamin, etc. etc. These 12 names are forever immortalized on the gates of the City.

Why is this so amazing and important?

Because when we go back to the book of Genesis we find some very disconcerting things about who these 12 boys were...

1. Simeon & Levi. Genesis 34 describes how one of the men in the town of Shechem had slept out of wedlock with the Dinah, the sister of the twelve sons of Jacob, and now wanted to marry her. And so the sons of Jacob devised a scheme to get revenge for her sister being defiled. They stated that according to their faith Dinah cannot marry into a group of people who are uncircumcised. The twelve sons deceitfully stated that they will only permit the marriage if the whole town becomes circumcised and become like them. Amazingly, all the males of the town agreed to do it. Then on the 8th day after the circumcision, which is the day of greatest pain and fatigue from the act, Simeon and Levi went into the city and literally slaughtered all the males in that town as payback and looted the city.

2. Reuben. Genesis 35:22 speaks of Reuben sleeping with his father's wife.

3. Judah. Genesis 38 tell us how Judah slept with his own daughter-in-law thinking she was a prostitute.

4. Not to mention the fact that the older brothers sold Joseph into slavery, having no compassion, mercy, or love towards their own blood nor to their father to whom they lied about Joseph's fate until years later when Joseph revealed himself to his family in Egypt.

These young men were some of the most wicked and perverted human beings in the Bible. Yet their names are victoriously immortalized on the gates of the New Jerusalem.

Why? Because with time these men saw the evil of their ways, their actions, and in faith came before the Creator and confessed and repented of all their sins. They allowed God to take away the heaviness of heart that has gone over them and gave them a new heart and mind. These twelve began to walk with the LORD, and through the mercy and power of the Almighty they overcame their sinful tendencies and the defects of their characters. Now their names stand as a testament to all the universe, and especially to mortal men. Their names on the twelve gates are proclaiming that no matter how evil one may be, no matter how despicable one's actions, words, or thoughts may have been, Jehovah has made it possible, through the blood, sacrifice, and power of Jesus Christ, for sinful beings to be forgiven of their sins and be transformed into creatures of love and righteousness.

There is a kind of inward peace and understanding which supercedes all anxiety, uncertainty, thoughts of the past, and turmoil that is this earth. The past is no longer despaired over but learned from. The present is no longer a run but a steady walk. The future is no longer dreaded and pointless but is everything hoped and awaited for. This peace though, only Jesus Christ can give. We are encouraged in James 4:8, "Draw nigh unto God, and He will draw night unto you."

All it takes is a bow of the head in a quiet place and a genuine desire to get to personally know Him who gave His all that you may live. Call upon the Creator in prayer, ask Him to reveal Himself and His will to you. Ask Him for newness of life if this is what you seek after. Take God at His Word as you begin to read it and absorb it.

We are not talking about cheap-grace mainstream Christianity here. We are talking about a genuine walk with Jesus that very few experience today. A real relationship with Jesus where one literally hears the voice of His Holy Spirit and sees Him work in one's life on a continual basis. Prayer is no longer one man talking but a conversation. The perfect world to come becomes more real and desired than the world of today. Such a reality with God is available to you now.

My prayers are with you friend. I hope you will choose to try Him who knows you best. I hope you will choose eternal life.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

Me too. The chemtrails make me sick.

My eyes are itching and burning out of my head. I can't breathe. It hasn't rained all summer. I hate the government for it. I can't do anything about it and I'm tired of being sick from them. I'm strongly considering suicide to get out of this sick existence.

1) Forget all this religious bullshit. It doesn't exist.

2) If you pull the rip cord and bail on this life, your soul will cause you to reincarnate ASAP and put you in similar circumstances so that you learn that pulling the rip cord is not an option - unless you are suffering a terminal illness or something. But to avoid a seemingly hopeless situation.....no good. Not an option to bail. And forget about god and the rest. No one on this planet knows what they are talking about. You are not deserving or undeserving. That has nothing to do with anything. Doesn't exist.

Well, that opens up a whole new world of possibilities for you. Take up skydiving. Become a martyr for hire, ha. Join the navy seals. Wow, lucky you,

Medications don't work OP.

You have to find the strength within yourself.

Maybe you need to live at a monastery for a while.

I think you need to take an entirely different path in life, one geared toward nature and higher consciousness.

You aren't alone. Its happening to more people everyday it seems, I see it in RL and online. I see it in my life. Don't let go though, just tell yourself you can make it through one more day.
