My dog had been pawing at it and then it "attacked" me with its high-pitched insanity and I smacked it down with a cup on the back porch...bc it was acting all 'june-bug-esque' and ridiculous... Hence my (slight) sarcasm...I feel very bad for killing it....I love the Cicada song in Summer, but Christ Almighty!
