im no moontard, but the moon is acting strange..........
Last night I looked at the moon around 8 pm, it was a slight sliver, normal, right? well, about an hour later I noticed the moon again, this time, it was no longer a sliver, but about 1/4 was lit up. I did not think that the moon ever changed its appearance as the night lingered on. Can someone set this straight?
Thanks!
Have a great day!

Let me speak a little more in depth, so that my topic will be more easily understood. This is less to do with the actual moons appearance and more to do with the position of the moon and sun. At first last night, the moon appeared to have a sliver lit up by the sun. An hour or so later, the moon had more of it's surface lit by the sun. The sliver was now about 1/4 lit up by the sun, meaning something ( the earth, or moon) had moved so that the moon was more exposed to the sun. I have never noticed it before, maybe it is normal? Just seemed a little odd, and noteworthy.

I hear ya OP. I saw the moon last night. It was beautiful. The sun side was lit about 1/4 moon. The rest of the moon was eerily lit from reflected earth-shine. Venus was up and left a bit. Cool view.

You turned into a werewolf and lost your memory afterwards.
