Early September huge earthquake predictions

I'm in NY. So basically what he's saying is east coast will be fubar by end of next week. I think he's wrong, and it will be west coast but with all the movement going on here on the east coast I dunno - the quake we had in NY two weeks ago has finally convinced me that this Elenin stuff is for real. Anyway, I'm ready - I think the survivors of what is coming will have a harder time than those of us who are taken our early.

brief summary of this guy? his website is painful to read. what does he base these predictions off of and has he accurately predicted anything before?
