The being dead thing is not all that bad it's the coming back that's rough!!

Fentanyl I'm on 150mcgs for ruptured discs in my spine after an auto accident I've been on it for 7yrs but they are going to adjust the dose now due to some heart related issues!!

Thanks ya know weebles wobble but they don't fall down this is the 5th time I've died since 2001 so I must be here for some purpose I just haven't figured that out yet!!!

So when you died, were you still alive? Did you get to see the spiritual side of Gods creation?

On 2 of the occasions I was DEAD as a doornail!!!! If you wasnt me to discuss the whole being dead thing and the things I saw at length I will but it's a long story!!!

All right here goes I'll just tell one story at a time so there is no confusion!!

Round 1 in May of 2001 I had undergone a double bypass, a month or so later I was having some chest pain so they opted to do a cardiac cathaterization!! As I lay on the table the Dr asked me to turn my head to the left as he injected the dye in and he injected it too fast causing my heart to stop. On this occasion all I could see was grey I was aware that I was not breathing,moving,or seeing but I was acutly aware of myself and nothing else.what I did not see this time was
1 No bright light or tunnel
2. No long dead relatives calling me home
3. No trumpets or the sounds of angels
4. No life flashing before my eyes

All I sw was grey but it was a warm and comfortable place with no pain involved until they hit me with the paddles for the fourth or fifth time. and the colors changed from grey to red to normal and I had kidked the dr in the face as I was coming to. Like I said it was a very comforting place to be in!!!

The 2nd time I died was June 19th 2003. On the way homefrom night fishing I was a restrained passenger. I had dozed off when the driver fell asleep and we hit a tree dead on at 65mph the resulting injuries were 8 broken ribs,heriated discs at c-4,5 c2-3 t-2, a ruptured spleen,broken nose and a fractured skull, and torn up legs. I died while wating for the ambulance. I do recall being slightly above and behind the EMT working on me in the car, seeing the lights they had set upand hearing them say Tim we're taking you out of the car now!!! And that's all I remember of that one until I woke up in the ICU several days later!!

and the first thing you do is go onto a site full of nut jobs? What about goin to see your friends and your family?

I can tell you about mine:

When I was in my twenties, I awoke from sleep, and just sat there at the side of the bed for a minute. When I leaned forward to stand, I literally kept floating into the air, and I turned around and saw myself lying in bed, STILL in my original position!

I was just...stupefied. THAT'S when it hit me that I was dead, because I was out of my body. But then at the same time, I remembere just thinking to myself: wait a minute: I can't die now! I have a little kid to take care of and raise(who was only about four-years-old at the time but is a teenager now). I actually tried calling out to see if anyone could hear me, but no response.

So I told myself to get back into my body because I couldn't leave my little one like that, and I wasn't ready to go yet! So I did: I floated back down into my body, inhaled a really deep breath like I was coming up from near-drowning, and I opened my eyes. I started patting myself all over and even pinched myself, really hard, just to make sure I wasn't still out, and I stood up and walked around too, but I didn't float, so I was good (lol). Anyway, I'll never forget that night.

But there were no lights or angelic voices or anything else like that. It was just me, watching myself sleep... .

The 3rd time I died was after a bout of acute Pancreatitis and my surgeon decided to take my gallbladder out thinking that's what caused it, anway I stopped breathin in recovery and I don't remember anything about incident except waking up in ICU on a ventilator for a week. On to the two most recent on both occasions while I was being resusitated I had the distinct feeling of traveling with someone at a very rapid pace not knowing the destination but almost the feeling of running from someone or something just not knowing what or where but it was the same on both occasions. There was no pain on any of the occasions which is reassuring!! But I guess not seeing God or anything heavenly doesn't mean he doesn't exist I guess just being here after all of that does I just don't know.. I am always willing to talk with anyone about these experiences just ask.

I went P-N-B (pulseless, not breathing) once that I am aware of.

I remember traveling on a tron-like (movie) vectored grid pattern towards a light. About 75% of the way there 'we' stopped and I shot backwards away from the light at an incredible speed. I 'thudded' back into my body, and opened my eyes to see somebody pounding on my chest.
