this is sad. especially since he would have gotten the antibiotics for free if he filled out few forms. and the antibiotics are cheap even without health insurance. guarantee you the hospital in his area set up for 'poor' people wouldn't have done a root canal, but would extract for free, and would have given him meds for free or very cheaply.

infections are VERY serious, especially tooth abscesses. NEVER ignore, and get and take appropriate antibiotics and have extracted asap.
