Ever wonder about how the really dry and barren earth looks a lot like how skin looks up close? Every day something wanders into my mind, and leaves me in AWE, all over again, at our infinitely, terrifying, complex existence.

McKenna (and Bill Mollison about the same time) came up with the same rationale...if 1/3 of a human has 3rd degree burns, they are pretty much dead...so if 1/3 of the planet has 3rd degree burns (vide: deserts) it will die the same. So... Get thee to a Permaculture course and stop the desert... This is my forte, and all the crusty old psychedelic folk who I know expect me to do something amazing...as do I.... I don't mean terrifying as in a fear of ceasing to exist. More like that feeling you get the first time you experience the loss of 'ego'. Basically petrified in awe. Also, I love what you're doing there! I wish you and the planet tons of synchromatic luck! I BELIEVE, and I will do my part.
