Will hallucinogens help me get in touch with myself?

I did shrooms a few times when I was like 17-18. now im 24. Anyways It opened up my mind why drugs are illegal. It feels like you uncovered a whole new truth to life. I dont do drugs anymore though because people who I associate with (family, friends,gf ) dont think its acceptable n that sux. I also tried salvia anf I think salvia is more potent. It made me see my thoughs. I also liked that salvia only lasted 2minutes vs 5hrs trippin on shrooms. Both of these drugs will open your mind

It does suck when your family, gf bums you out about using something that, frankly, they should try out. Perhaps they will stop so materialistic and get in touch with their spiritual side, to feel more connected to a more peaceful realm.
