don't want to alarm anyone
but about 20 mins ago had
2 fighter jets scrambled
and went airborne.
10 mins later another 2 scrambled
and went airborne.
all heading off at high rate of speed.

I heard them, I did not see them but I know the difference between passenger jets and fighter jets. they were in a hurry where they were going, I have no clue. How do you know they were scrambled? Does that make a distinct sound?
