Talking with a relative in Escondido, they've only been without power there for about an hour and a half. She notices nothing out of the usual there. Most of them have no clue it isn't a localized problem.

We were cut off from 3:45pm-1:46am and there are still areas without power. That's enough time for a lot to happen, that's a whole full time shift with an hour lunch break. Who knows...you can only wonder...
