I've been unusually tired too - last 5-6 days. Can hardly manage to stay awake in the afternoon. Yesterday I had to take a nap - totally exhausted.

Never happened to me before this week. Especially bad today.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1536993

I rarely take afternoon naps... but when I do I always fall into a coma. Today was one of those days... and when I woke up I had seven cats all snuggled around me who were also dead to the world. Now THAT is extremely rare around here.

Re: Anyone feeling unusually tired recently
Yes, all this week actually. I've overslept / slept through my alarm TWICE this week, and it's a short work week since Monday was a holiday! I start yearning for sleep about 2:00 in the afternoon, have been going to bed unusually early, and still oversleeping in the mornings and not feeling at all rested.

In addition, on Wednesday 3 people in my office (counting me) all came down with a sore throat and headaches the same afternoon, with no prior warning of symptom onset. Still have them and it's spreading to the ear canals. I had to leave work at noon today because of, ah, "lower intestinal trouble."

By the way, in regards to a very early post that mentions diabetes, I am a diabetic and my blood sugar has been firmly controlled for nearly a decade now; whatever this is, it isn't about diabetes.

(I was diagnosed with diabetes on Friday of the week that 9/11 happened; not a good week for me all the way around.)

Oh, and about pets:

I have 4 cats and normally when I wake up I find 2 of them sleeping with me (not always the same two, and it switches during the night as well).

This week, I've been waking up to find all 4 asleep on me.

So it's official, cosmic energies are affecting us right now. I wonder if it gonna do us good in the end.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1516837

Yes, cosmic energys in part. The end? That's a surprise, but you will very much like the new you. Coming to all of you soon.

our bodies need an upgrade, they cant handle the percieving the energies, we need 10x better prosecor and memory, and a new motheboard (internal body structure),

Today... I woke up late then laid back down about two hours later and slept for three hours....

I'm feeling like a shit right now.

Yesterday, I was so strong, vigorous, happy....

Something strange is in the air, definitely...

I slept well, ate well, I was not stressed, was a quiet day at work ....

In short, no specific reason for me to be so .....

It must be because of solar storms

I do not smoke, do not drink, do not use drugs ...

I am a healthy young man of 26 years...

Glad to hear from someone in the southern hemisphere. As people here know Japans (Radiation) is not in the southern hemisphere. I would like to hear more from more people in the southern hemisphere on how they are feeling.

Speaking of pressure, anyone's ears popping like crazy?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 926633

Not really popping but ringing all the time. Left side is more then the right.

I have been extremely tired since Wednesday. Actually, Wednesday was the worst day, but yesteday and today were days during which I felt more tired than usual. Tired right after getting up in the morning. Worse after lunch (pretty usual) and almost lethargic by the end of the day.

Yes I am the one that did the global pin on this because I think this is important to hear from others that "us" as individuals are not feeling this alone, but the world is feeling this together.

I'm a narcoleptic. I can control the problem with Ritalin but it hasn't helped much lately. I can drop off to sleep in seconds; i did today and yesterday and i don't have any energy when I'm awake. Usually I can get things done...not in the last few weeks. Weird.

This is crazy to see all these responses....I've posted on a couple of the other "anyone feeling awful" threads too... but yes, I've been feeling terrible, debilitating fatigue.

I work out regularly, and my workouts this past week have been for shit... I'm weak and I have no stamina.

I eat well, and am very health conscious -- don't drink, etc.

Had a migraine from hell today too.

. . . thereis something going around right now called hand, foot and mouth disease . . . Do the kitties have runny eyes . . . yet . . . ? I use Vetericyn to clean their eyes and Neosporan to rub on the surface of the eyes (they will sweetly close their eyes for you so that you can rub the Neosporan on), however a can of Tinactin sprayed in their faces will cure it in the end. The kitty litter will be highly contaminated so keep it changed and sprayed with disinfec . . . and put in baking soda on the bottom before putting in the kitty litter . . .

Re: Anyone feeling unusually tired recently
Well, only skimmed 14 pages, but my 20 year old daughter keeps saying she doesn't know why she feels so exhausted, and that she has a runny/stuffy nose and thinks maybe she is suddenly allergic to her cat (I disagree)....But I have been noticing for about 5 days that my 2 dogs and 1 kitten (6 months old) are sleeping like crazyyyyyyy. I mean, before my daughter ever mentioned her tiredness, I noticed my pets are not just sleeping a lot, but DEEPLY. It is a definite change in their normal activity level, so it is weird. Really.

Not me. I have so much energy. I feel better than ever. Nothing can slow me down in the slightest. I do not let things bring me down. I go to bed when I always do. I sleep like a baby and then wake up and JUMP out of bed and run to my truck and floor it to work. I then run into the office and within 10 minutes, I'm off to all me jobs. I haven't walked in 15 years. I don't believe in it. In fact I run up and down stairs all day long every day. I am an unstoppable force and I haven't been sick in over 10 years. I once went to a doctor because I was starting to think that there might be something wrong with me because I was soooo happy all the time. The idiot doctor started checking my arms for drug use. I shit you not. I don't do drugs by the way. Anyway, to answer your question simply. No, I do not feel tired. That is a word that I do not use often. So is the word Wait. Have a great day.
