Jesus did not speak Aramaic / Syriac / Babylonian.. he was Hebrew and that is what was spoke, as recorded in Matthew and elsewhere.

If Jesus and His apostles only spoke Hebrew, why did the apostles write the new testament in Greek?

If people really were supposed to call Jesus by a Hebrew name, why didn't the apostles write that in the bible somewhere? Why did they repeatedly write His Name in Greek in the bible?

Why is it that the name of Jesus Christ in Hebrew isn't in the bible anywhere? If Jesus's "real name" must be written in Hebrew, why didn't they write His Name in Hebrew in the bible?

Get this ..

The greatest civilization that existed around that time , in that area , could only manage to communicate using pictures ---- the Egyptians and their hyroglyphs ..

Are you all trying to tell me a bunch of primitive goat herding tribes left reams of easily translatable texts ..

The whole dang lot was written by historians /writers with no first hand knowledge of what actually was said or occurred many centuries previously ..

Exactly. Aramaic my ass. Sick and tired of you people spreading lies. HEBREW is the language Christ spoke..and his name is Yashaya which means SAVIOUR in Hebrew.
 Quoting: Axx 18456325

Ancient Hebrew didn't have /use vowels so his name could have been Yoshoyo or Yishiyi or any other combination of letters ..rofl

There were no numerals either , so all numbers and dates used in the Bible are pure conjecture or guess work ..

Yod-Shin-Ayin are the hebrew letters.. add the proper vowel points and you have YASHAYA.

Is it really that hard to understand?

After saying something like that you use our word "Ain't". Just thought it was kinda funny. I don't understand why any of this is relevant. Just call Him Emmanuel, or call Him Jesus, or Yahshua, or Issa, or whatever. I guarantee He knows all of the variations, and isn't too much concerned with original language. If you guys/gals put as much time in actually understanding His teachings as you do the spelling of His name or language He spoke you might actually be able to have a legitimate discussion. No offense, but this is nonsense.
