Comet looks intact to me and it is showing a tail.

Utter crap. If anything we need answer as to why LASCO 3 has nothing new for last seven hours. Nothing has passed SOHO, if anything we should see it pass SOHO later in the month when its actually between SOHO and the sun. Remember note: SOHO is a viewing of the sun from Earths point of view. It wouldn't see C/2010 X1 (comet elenin)

I am telling you that is Elenin. I have been tracking it on Stereo and am familiar with its appearance and the 3 small dots under it are always with it. They form an arc.

SOHO isnt not STEREO.

No kidding. Elenin was viewable on Stereo B until around 9/3/11. Then it left Stereo's range of view. On 9/7/11 at 04:48 only, you can see it on Soho Lasco C2 if you zoom in and look at the mid-right bottom of the screen.

I kid u not. I wish it were a joke.

In the pic it is the object slightly up and to the right of the photo timestamp of 04:48. Do u see it? It has a tail and under it are 3 dots that form an arc.

Now- look to the left of the comet at the winged object. What is it?

The reason the NASA Nazis won't show any pics of Elenin is certainly because the two pieces have come back together again. And the obvious reason for this is because they were two ships, that had to separate when the ocean of space got wavy around Jupiter.

supposediy it was only viewable early sept because they rotated the "cameras" on it for a short time. however, I never saw evidence of the rolled cameras in the views, so it'all fake. I saw no evidence in the images they put out a few days later.
