Warfarin is an anti-coagulant. In the concentrated form used for rat poison it kills the rats through internal bleeding. In the lower concentrations used for human medication it helps to break down existing clots and prevent new ones forming. It is obviously still dangerous and has side effects, which is why the dosage is carefully controlled. YOUR A MURDER |
