9 inch, 2lb Camera Lens falls 200mph+ Through Womans Roof!!!
Debbie Payne, 55, said she found the approximately two-pound, 9-inch Canon camera lens outside of her home on Friday, Sept. 2, after hearing a loud crash that shook the two-story house, left a hole in her roof and sliced through two window screens.

Dozens of them. Armed to the teeth. I'm outnumbered. Outgunned. But the alley is crooked, dark, and very narrow. They can't surround me. Sometimes you can beat the odds with a careful choice of where to fight.

If you watch the video you see that it kind of came down on an angle and got the overhang of her roof and ripped the screen on the way down the side of the house.

Maybe someone taking pictures from a hot air balloon? Small plane? I'm thinking something like that. At 2 lbs it really is not anything like a satellite size lens. I bet the look on the persons face that dropped it would have been worthy of a photo. If the serial number on the lens is still intact it could probably be traced back through the Canon product registration website. The owner should have registered it for the warranty. Hmmm...
