I don't know much either, but from what I can gather, modern cosmology is just catching up to ancient knowledge. The orbits they talk about today, are proving ancient scripts to be correct. So although the ancients knew and documented this information many years ago, modern man gives credit to the first person in our record history for the discoveries, and then through observation, documents the paths these "newly discovered" objects travel.....which turns out to be exactly what the ancients documented.
