doom_mood (OP) User ID: 1546758 United Kingdom 09/17/2011 10:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The entire roof of DIA is made of 15 acres of Teflon-coated, woven fiber glass. The same material is on the inside as a layer, also. The place looks like a bizarre (but kind of cool) scene out of "Dune", comprised of huge, spiked tent-like structures. The material reflects 90% of the sunlight and doesn't conduct heat. So you can't see into the place with radar or see heat signatures. |

Why you posting this moranic crap everywhere ? If they are going to under ground bunkers they don't need rooms. Not saying either way, care less, other than perhaps those solar panels above should go if things go south for us, then those folks might come back up and splain things a bit better. |

It's interesting that lots of activity is supposed to be happening there with out-of-towners and yet not lots of places booked. And WOW, how did I miss the ANNOUNCEMENT that they are going to underground bunkers?! No need to check around and try to prove out suspicions, it's obviously a proven fact according to you! ducati60 User ID: 1090614 United States 09/18/2011 12:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | still the roof would prevent the outsiders from radar and eaves dropping, and the internal sub level 'traffic' from getting out? I read that the roof was made out of Kevlar, which is the material used in police / military vests. This, along with the angle, will help stop things falling out of the sky. Quoting: Just Me 1546921 its teflon coated, over the fibe glass, inside and the inner fabric too, perhaps you confused the two? |
