Excellent video. A MUST watch!!

Why is that an all knowing all powerful god would create humans with free will only to have their true purpose be obedience in the face of temptation? And if you fail to live up to that "one little expectation", then you are cursed for life as in the story of adam and eve. The entire human race is doomed using the free will god gave them and the one law he gave them not to break.

Now lets imagine eve never ate the "fruit" (the entire story obviously an allegory). What happens? God lets satan continue to try and tempt them until he gets them? How does an all knowing all powerful god not foresee his naive human creation falling for promises of greater intelligence?

IMHO I believe this story(adam and eve) and all the confusing contradictions are a test for intellect. Can you see through the bullshit? Can you find your answers inside and actually act on them yourself, all by yourself, no leader, nothing 100% sure, on faith alone? Faith in yourself and faith in the fact that you are alive and have this urge to be better. To be perfect. OR do you want to have blind faith in what is external (the bible, god, jesus). God and jesus both have very real paralells to my inner psyche. Everything is inside. That is why there is this plethora of "information" on the outside. To confuse the shit out of you and test your resolve.

Good video... but they try to paint "self-improvement" or "self-actualization" as a bad thing. Tell me why "god" does bestow great gifts to those who follow what they know in their hearts is the truth. The quest for enlightenment is my truth. I have felt the presence of god when I am on the path. The path is not reading the bible word for word and following it by the numbers. Its deciphering the code that others who have done this on their own before me have embedded.

A wise mans tools are analogies and puzzles. For he knows only the earnest will look deeper for the answers. Spoon feed man anything and he will not have earned it... He will not grasp the depth of the idea, without pushing through to the answer himself.
