That would be 65 updates...how would your news feed look? Imagine the filter they would have to have regarding the words "OCCUPY" "WALL" "STREET"...any post with the words "Wall Street" combined would be speculated and someone would have to individually check whether that post was about specifically occupying wall street. Otherwise any post with the words "wall street" would be suspicious and automatically hidden.  |

I know how to view posts that aren't ordinarily seen. I am telling you for a fact that certain posts do not make news feeds and this was one of them. I'm not making up a story, if you read into a bit you'll see that Facebook was planning to filter feeds and recently it's been noted a few times including some flash mobs in the UK and the US. It's not a conspiracy, it's fact. If you were the American government trying to control a revolution how would you do it? It's pretty easy to make some phone calls to Zuckerberg and the gang and ask them to please filter key words. Google does it to! |

Believe me when I say I don't trust our government and that they could pressure just about anyone to do anything they wanted. I don't know how I feel about this particular idea in that there are lots of ways someone can get around it. I will ask my husband to help test this when he gets home from work. My friends and family already think I am nutty enough without asking to confirm this. They wouldn't be surprised, however. |

It's currently set to only search your news feed (uncensored through FB API) for things about Wall Street. You can't see who's posting because I think that would be a violation of FB TOS so it's just anonymous posts. |
