1 guy resigning proves nothing. You have obserevable evidence or you have nothing. There is observable evidence of warming on a worldwide scale. All the political bullshit aside, what do you guys want? Do we just keep drilling oil knowing it's a finite resource? I know I know.. most of us agree with you here. The problem is, there is not a viable solution that can provide the entire world with the power it needs to operate without using fossil fuels at the present time. Wind, water, solar and even nuclear at present are simply not good enough. They are being worked on, but unfortunately it will be 10-15yrs down the pipeline before these projects come to fruition..

And yes, one *physicist* of all professions, means jack squat, when hundreds of thousands of scientists around the world (independent and otherwise) are behind the climate change model. Just because a few angry oil execs and republicans think it's a lie, doesn't discount the science (especially given the junk science that is often sponsored by said groups).

Man made global warming is a farce. According to the UN, man made global warming is less than warming caused by cattle farts. No joke.

Warming is happening on other planets as well. It's got to have something to do with the sun. No other way to explain it.

Although many of you may not have ever heard of it, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is one of the top technoloical development schools in the world, the work they do there with man-machine interfacing is absolutely world class, amongst other contributions.

There is no dead weight on their faculty, as they only care about their reputation within the technology community, I would weigh the opinion of anyone associated with RPI with gravity.

Did the previous ice age end due to our carbon footprint? Did the industrial revolution occur during the ice age? If not, then it seems that the earth warmed ON ITS OWN without us. TPTB are trying to make us think it's our fault. That's bullshit.

Furthermore , if the sun was putting out enough energy.to.raise the tempature of Pluto then the earth would have been fried long ago.
