I know I know.. most of us agree with you here. The problem is, there is not a viable solution that can provide the entire world with the power it needs to operate without using fossil fuels at the present time. Wind, water, solar and even nuclear at present are simply not good enough. They are being worked on, but unfortunately it will be 10-15yrs down the pipeline before these projects come to fruition..

And yes, one *physicist* of all professions, means jack squat, when hundreds of thousands of scientists around the world (independent and otherwise) are behind the climate change model. Just because a few angry oil execs and republicans think it's a lie, doesn't discount the science (especially given the junk science that is often sponsored by said groups).
