Land ownership... what a funny concept
If land "belongs" to you, and you don't like your neighbors, why not just dig up "your land" and take it somewhere else?

Aah yes, but how would our elites and governments control and make easy money and slaves out of us...whilst still actually holding right to the land, becaue funnily private land ownership is actually a concession and not legally binding... as governments and monarchies have the right to take back your land at any time..if they ever wanted or needed too...because they stupidly think the land belongs to them too...all selfish really.

OP - what about the concept of sovereign nations?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1188144

Sovereignty doesn't come from governments

"Rights" are only as substantial as the force used to protect them

But there is almost always going to be someone somewhere who is capable of more force than you, someone who is more willing to abandon compassion than you are. Those with the most "power" (influence over others through manipulation) always use violence to enforce their "power" so violence is never an acceptable or reasonable solution to struggles for "sovereignty"

A "nation" is nothing more than a group of people who follow a form of "government". A "government" is nothing more than a pattern of behavior, a social system used to maintain an established paradigm. It's not a tangible thing, it's just an idea. What you see and experience are simply the natural results of that idea

Therefore the "sovereignty" of a "nation" is as fleeting as the violence needed to enforce it

From a psychological perspective, the concept of land ownership is less about the land itself and more about asserting artificial authority over others

You cannot "own" nature, you can only forceably compel others to pretend you do

if it's your land, then you should be allowed to be buried on your property when you die, rather than sharing space with all the other dead bodies in a graveyard.

There are a lot of private cemeteries here, what is bad is when the graves are not marked and you accidentally dig into one.

So the only difference between you "owning" the land and not owning the land is your willingness to exert violent force to keep other people off of it?

If someone forces you off of "your" land, does that make it their land or is it still yours?

Are you 12 years old? Do you not have any idea of how land tile is conveyed? Do you think people just plop their butts down and take it? I cannot believe that you are totally ignorant of laws regarding property.
Do you have a car? A bicycle? Or any thing else you regard as yours? If a previous owner of your car demanded you turn it over to him, would you?
