Paraffin storm lamps....you can get paraffin from hardware shops, or B&Q. Wind up clock/s....because there won't be any electricity or batteries probably. Water filter jugs. Candles, candle holders you can carry around with you. Block your windows up to stop UV X-ray light from getting to your skin during breakdown of magnetosphere.  |

If the flare wipes out your batteries, get galvanized steel, copper foil, some copper wire, water, and salt. From that you can produce 12 working volts of power to charge you batteries. Otherwise, just somewhere safe you can call home base. Oh, and lotsa guns and bullets for protection-not offence. Water purification!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Also, wa wash board to wash clothes if we are without power for awhile, and to cure boredom, some sort of thing that doesnt require power, for example, guitar, piano, violin, flute. Music can help soothe the soul. O, and for good tips, i love to go to modernsurvivalblog.com, the guy who does it, lists to pretty good tips. |
