Quoting: Anonymous Coward 994896 Of course, you say this but ignore that Ron Paul won the California Straw Poll just last week. Again, you are just another sheep who gets his opinions from the media. And this raises the point that the media will believe straw polls are important as long as Ron Paul does not win them. |

So did Perry and he lost in a big way....that's the real story here. Quoting: Glósóli The Paul campaign put zero money and effort in and still got 10%. Which Paul can say about all the straw polls, he doesn't pay anyone to go,in any way, whether it's admission to the event or whatever. |

The higher the number of votes, the closer the results will be to national poll figures. Only way to skew those is with massive organization like they had in Ames. Ron Paul supporters don't do fucking shit but spend their time online. Tring to get one to make cold calls or go door to door with fliers is pointless because they're just too fucking lazy to really get involved with the political system (which most of them despise anyway). |

Rick Scott announced. “It shows you something, the road to the White House come through Florida, and it pays to spend time here.” Quoting: greggin5d He received 37 percent of the more than 2,600 votes cast. The two national frontrunners — Mr. Perry and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — placed second and third. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, meanwhile, landed in fourth place; Rep. Ron Paul of Texas landed in fifth place; and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, sixth. Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann finished last. [link to www.washingtontimes.com] poll results: Herman Cain, 37.1% Rick Perry, 15.4% Mitt Romney, 14.0% Rick Santorum, 10.9% Ron Paul, 10.4% Newt Gingrich, 8.4% Jon Huntsman, 2.3% Michele Bachmann, 1.5% [link to www.washingtontimes.com] this is utter bullshit. Ron Paul CRUSHED everyone else in the polls. DELEGATES as in paid party hacks. Its amazing that Paul even gets 10% of those clowns. Regular citizens love Paul. |

sci fi girl User ID: 395654 United States 09/26/2011 02:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, I really believe that the retired white Republicans voted en masse for the only black candidate. America is truly turning into a nationwide reality show. Maybe we can have what the idiocracy really wants- two black men squaring off against each other in the ultimate "choice" for president. No way does this inarticulate buffoon get that kind of support. I do not believe it, Sam I Am. What an attractive guy this is; ebonics-tinged voice, Federal Reserve affiliation, pizza background. How can we not vote for him? Ron Paul's support dwarfs this clown's. Any "poll" that claims otherwise is establishemnt hogwash. |

Someone was playing fast and loose with the hours people were allowed to vote. [link to www.dailypaul.com] |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1503292 Ireland 09/26/2011 04:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | he ISN'T radical. but he is too old. people will not elect him. now if you put RP into Mitt Romneys body you would have something. sorry thats just how it is. He isn't too old. How old someone actually is has to do with their overall health, if they exercise and have through out life, if they have a career and interests, new challenges, lots of family and friends that are in their lives, and many more other factors. Ron Paul would come in at about 50 on that scale. He exercises an hour a day, swims, bikes 20 miles at a time in Houston heat, and would probably run circles around you, physically and mentally. He led a two mile march to the Fed, and led it two miles back to the start point. Smart people don't find him old at all. We find him to be energetic, brilliant, experienced, and the only man for the job. |

Quoting: Krimmy oh yes he is. Social Security is NOT in the Constitution. Once Grannies figure this lil scheme out, they're gonna kick ole Ron in the nuts. See, the problem here is that you are making up what your saying. You don't know anything about his policies, and haven't listened to the debates. For those currently on Soc. Sec., and those who have been paying into it, their Soc. Sec. is safe. As Ron Paul said, they paid into it and it belongs to them. Those just entering the work force will have the ability to Opt Out of the system if they choose to do so. You aren't going to pull the wool over anyone's eyes who supports Ron Paul. Might as well give it up. Go do your homework. |

Social Security only works if there are people contributing from all ages in the work force. take out the young from contributing and Social Security goes bankrupt within 2 years. that's just math. or maybe that Ron Paul math from PA is different than mine. letting the young opt out will only kill it much faster and leave seniors SOL down the line in 2 years. |
