If it were not evolutionarily beneficial then fat would not be stored by the body.

Having a fair amount of fat can be considered "money in the bank" enough to get you through long periods without food.

In fact If I had to face a few weeks on only water I'd prefer to have more fat on me than I do now.

I agree to an extent OP but it is also genetic. You probably know people that can eat a shit load of food and never gain weight. They also do not get more exercise, they just have a higher metabolism. I am one of those unfortunate folks that is just the opposite. I have to work my ass off, literally, to keep from being out of shape. But anyone can do it. I have been overweight a good part of my life but currently am not. It does take work for those that have a crappy metabolism, hard work. I agree because there are some people out there that just do not even try. It is disgusting to see. But there are also some that really have to work hard and may still carry a few extra pounds.

Yes. People who choose to be ignorant annoy me and it relieves me to express my opinions about them. Fat people are ignorant about their health and whats worse, its one of the easiest things to control. too be fair we are living in a super fucked up time in history in regards to nutrient. With all the gmo foods and artificial nonsense, it's really easy for a good third of the population to get fat. Not to mention bad parents, I see mothers feeding their 5 year old kids chili dogs and ice cream, so that sets them up for a bad life when it comes to weight.

Thats such a bullshit reason and I am sick of hearing it. Its all about calories in / calories out. How much does it cost to exercise? You dont HAVE to eat that high calorie food. If youre fat youre obviously getting too many calories, so maybe you should cut back? Whether its McDonalds or lettuce.
