I can't think of any actors off the top of my head who haven't sold out, flopped, burned out, etc in some way shape or form.

If you've heard of them, they've probably already sold out according to many people's standards. There are many funny and talented famous musicians, actors, and comedians though.

Some have longer careers than others and some have legacies that have yet to fizzle out after many decades.

Off the top of my head, Paul Newman may have kept his integrity. He came into the Fridays where I worked a couple years back and was as down to earth as can be. Also, his friend robert redford seems to be a nice fellow. I'm sure there are others, but I'm about to fall asleep.

There were two mall "cop" movies. The one Seth Rogen was in was called Observe and Report. I think O.P. did indeed see OnR because it provokes this kind of reaction. I have NOT seen it.

A lot of people in HW get their start through family connections. Others get their start on the casting couch. But, to keep getting movies, you have to make money for people. I get the impression Rogen's making them more than he's costing them. So, it's just business.

I wonder what Adam Sandler's cost was for Funny People? They all sucked in that movie. It hurt Sandler! If I were him I would never be seen around Rogen again.....

I haven't seen that one either. Comedies usually don't cost that much. So, often they do earn money even if their take was relatively low. I don't know about that one. You could look it up.

Seth is not funny to me, probably because I like more intellectual humour. He talks about bum holes, pussy, and weed. He's about as clever as a rusty nail. He's an infant still sucking his thumb and thinking about his penis. His brain never evolved beyond the age of 6... and the rest who find him funny likely possess the same intellectual and psychological development.

Some things he does are funny, but not often enough to allow him to be recognized as someone with talent. Again, he's jewish and connected. As they say in today's world it's not about how smart you are, it's about who you know.

Most comedians are not brilliant, they were just too lazy and stupid to do well in the other intellectual subjects. Remember the court jester? That's what a comedian is. They have no fear of making fools of themselves.

I agree with OP. He's a terrible actor. He always acts like the same person, no versatility whatsoever! It's like he's playing himself in every movie. He doesn't put on his acting face, he just plays himself. And that's alright I guess, but not in EVERY SINGLE movie he's been in.
