Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki told the Voice of Palestine radio station on Thursday that eight members of the Security Council have pledged to support the Palestinian statehood application, and that great efforts are being made to secure a decisive ninth supporter. Quoting: Cajun111 and you'd rather reward bad behavior I suppose....they want statehood...simple things they need to do and fast...stop launching attacks against israel and it's citizens...recognize israel and it's right to exist and come back immediately to negotiations. Yet they keep lobbing rockets and sending suicide bombers across and killing civilians. Having said that I don't like the heavy handed response the Israelis give at times...however when you target civlians...what do you expect? They sure as hell aren't going to send flowers in return, what would we do if Canada or Mexico started lobbing rockets and sending suicide bombers into our cities? We sure as hell wouldn't it take it sitting down now would we.
