"So maybe these blue stars do exist" - of course blue stars exist, just the same as yellow, red, orange, in fact awhole range of colours. I'm sure the astronomer they interviewed would be horrified to see what they've done with his explanation and description of this star (which BTW is thousands of light years outside our galaxy and heading away from us). And to mix animations of meteorite impacts with stories about "blue stars" is disingenuous at best, and downright blatant deception at worst. They don't even seem to understand the difference between a star and a meteorite... |

I don't know where that whole bit came from.. but if this star became brighter (probably years ago since I believe it's light years away now) it could still be a potential candidate for the Blue Kachina.
