Do you have the insight to see into the minds of every single poster on this site to know where their opinions are formed. If I simply say I disagree with you, that my understanding of atmospheric science is enough to make me satisfied that this is just water vapour in engine exhaust, how do you make your mental leap that I am somehow a paid agent posting from a script and not just another observer and aviation enthusiast that can look up at the sky and see a cirrus cloud, and not a trail of gawd knows what being put up there. I'd certainly not like to think that you would just assume that I was 'bat shit stupid' as you so eloquently put it, on the strength of one contrasting opinion. If the fact that I don't take anecdotal evidence as gospel and the be all and end all of an argument makes me either guano or a paid 'shill' then so be it, but I don't see either a pay cheque, nor do I smell like ammonia, mate. But hey, two sided debates are no fun, right? "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" - Carl Sagan Negative karma: the last bastion of the half-wit. IF skeptic = shill THEN you = retarded ELSE shut it. |
