That was so funny. Sounds like George W Bush called them up.

You guys have to take into consideration, there was no Internet at the time, no such thing as hacking. People's computers were so old and useless they weren't anything more then a typewriter or calculator. Now if another Government agency hacked them, in 1977, why would the spread a peaceful and thoughtful message instead of slandering or....buy or product...etc...

And im pretty sure it was later released that all five major transmitters were hijacked simultaneously, not just a base one.

What caught me about this was what was actually said about our governments and that we were coming in to the age of Aquarius.

I know this is old and that there have been several theorys about students pulling a prank but no one to my knowledge has come forward.
