Let me get this straight: they asked you how many ways out of your house there are? WTF???

The bass-turds came to my place last year, I told them it was a business location, not residential. They went away.

Re: Jade Helm - How Defeat Being On the List - A How-To Guide
After reading the posts, there seems to be two kinds of people out there. Those who implicitly trust government, like children, and those that do not.

It reminds me of the V for Vendetta quote:

"So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest that you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked."

So after all the Census data digging, the DHS Total Information Awareness vacuuming, and the AT&T Internet snooping - these do not arouse any self interest then let this thread pass you by.

....the American people would be shocked to know the level of unconstitutional spying that is going on.
 Quoting: Cheyenne

Give me a phone number.....or just an address.... with either one, I can pull a full legal name, social security number, date of birth, etc., in about 5.2 seconds.

In another 2.4 seconds, I can then obtain family members, their SSNs, their addresses, etc.

Indeed, people would be shocked to find out how much of their so-called "personal information" is readily available.

In my state they used to allow PO boxes on driver's licenses, but then they folded to DHS demands for real addresses. It seems like OPs idea of a temporary address, or a friend who is willing to sign a "lease" might work.

I got a notice in the mail about my license which is to be renewed soon. It said I needed my birth certificate, SS card, rental agreement, and voter registration.

So I went down to the courthouse to find out what I needed for the voter registration - nothing, apparently. Just needed to verbally give them my address and other identifiers. So... renting a cheap apartment for a month or two should clear up having my real address on record. The correspondence address will be a P.O. Box anyhow. Hehehe. F.U. Napolitano!

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2926765

The question that has been burning in many men's minds.

I've come to the conclusion that our economy is run by the Elite, and not completely market forces. It's not Capitalism, it's Crony Crapitalism.

That being said, our economy will not be tanked completely if the Elite have their wishes. They want A) Control and B) A good standard of living for themselves. Allowing a full scale economic collapse is not in their best interests. Difficult to have a nice, jet-set life without refined oil products or if there's mass chaos everywhere.

HOWEVER...

You and I are the wild cards. As are tens of millions of healthy, patriotic, armed, and veteran Americans. If we make their bid for control difficult they may use a false flag to ignite a civil war. They will try to fund both sides of the conflict in order to control the outcome. However, they may fail in this bid and the system spiral out of control.

Then we could see a collapse.

Odds of a full scale collapse? I would say 20%.

Odds of a civil war? I would say over 50%.

If your house had a 50% chance of burning down over the next five years, would you take out fire insurance?

Protecting your privacy from these federal goons is like insurance.

Your house should be owned by a trust or LLC and not in your name. It's good business sense and has liability / tax / privacy advantages. Most of my assets are not owned by myself, but by my company. All completely legal.

If you incorporate in Nevada or Wyoming I don't believe you need to divulge your real name. The paperwork is handled by a lawyer in Vegas or Cheyenne.

This is good stuff. I already get all my mail at my P.O. Box. Though my current residence is all over my credit report and other things. It's OK though because I'm building a house and will soon be moving into it, and I won't give that address out to ANYONE. I spend most of my day at my office though (I'm the owner) and my office address is all over the internet if someone wanted to find me during the day. Oh well.

No one is ever at home during the day at my house, except sometimes my housekeeper. The census people apparently got sick of trying to find anyone at home and finally left a thing on the door asking for someone to call them. I sent them a letter explaining that I would not answer any of their questions except for the number of people living in the house as they have no legal basis to ask anything beyond that. I never heard anything else from them.

I think the idea here is not to be low-hanging fruit. In the unlikely event the federales try scooping people up you will get indications of this... and then adios. Bug out. Save your live.

Again, I think this scenario is unlikely but possible.

Free tip...

Collect three (3) "junk mail" fliers addressed to YOU, by name, that are offering financial incentives, such as credit cards, credit lines, or "free" bank accounts.

Fill out each one completely, except where there is an entry blank for your "occupation." Here you should print, in all caps, "DECEASED." Return all three forms in the mail.

You will no longer receive junk mail addressed to you by name.

It isn't "full proof" off the grid, but is enough information in a database somewhere to flag your name as irrelevant.

After I did this, and many years later applied for the background check for a firearm purchase, my application returned as "Deceased." How did a credit card application information end up getting into a FBI database? ...guess.

I would love an app to hunt down these shills. Trace them down to an IP, then a street address. From there (most likely a strip mall or non-descript warehouse business) to the desk of a greasy gov't paid shill working a ManTech contract.

You can imagine their eyes going round as you sit down next to them and smile. The smell of sudden excrement wafting from their seats...

It will not stop TPTB from trying in earnest. They will most likely use a "Crisis" if it be created or just an easy train to ride for their personal cause.
All for our own protection of course, they know what is best for all of us.

Speaking of WIFI, does anyone know if it is possible to use a chain link fence as a massive booster antenna?

Another excuse TPTB use will use often,
"If you aren't doing anything wrong then why be concerned with privacy".
I am sure those of us in the know have heard this in the MSM, Corporate sponsers and speakers, and other groups.

Well why should some CEO or paid spokesman deem what is appropriate using the Government as a pedestal?

TPTB, Government, special interest groups and Corporations all seem to be working together after loading each others pockets.

I wonder where this mindset will eventually arrive and what it will be like.

I would invite you to stop by www.westernhero.blogspot.com where a bunch of us active and retired military blog - from Colorado Springs.

As far as a WIFI antenna, this is a topic I can help with.

Two ways for you to go. One uses a USB WIFI dongle and the other a WIFI card with a RF connector to it.

USB Dongle and Wok Fryer: [link to www.usbwifi.orconhosting.net.nz] (Good for around 15 dbi of gain, approximately 6 times farther than with just a USB dongle)

RF Connector and Primestar Dish:
[link to www.trevormarshall.com] (Good for around 30 dbi of gain, approximately 32 times farther than with a usb dongle)

So. You've made your antenna. What about the computer?

You don't want to be dipping into other people's WIFI with a computer littered with your personal stuff and identifiers. The person owning the AP might be a hacker and backhack you. Or turn you in.

I would take a cheap laptop, set it up with Linux, and use it only for wardriving, anonymous Internet access, and the like. Never access your real email account with it or log in to any website with your real name / email account.
