You don't dig on the internet, do you? The is STRAIGHT UP ASTROTURF! LISTEN! READ!!! The educated youth of today aren't that stupid. I recently hired a young grad from design school to build signs...you know...start at the bottom and learn... Can't really design signs if you don't know how they're constructed. Couldn't read a tape measurer, couldn't do basic fractions, and stank of entitlement - plus he lied in his interview and said he knew measurements like the back of his hand... Acted like his paper made him too good to actually work... Not to mention his total lack of common sense... I head he works at walmart now. Good for him. When did schools quit teaching viable skills? Over generalization is not a good mindset to have. just telling my story. I actually hear it alot from other business owners. Hopefully you've had better luck. |

Hope and Change bought and paid for. Quoting: Robot Emotions The job of the "liberal left" structure in this country is to co-opt and nullify popular movements. That is their function for the money elite. One thing they fear is a popular movement that breaks outside of their established polarized system. Thus we are seeing the typical "left" apparatus being brought into play: unions, "community" organizations (such as ACORN), university faculty, etc, all attempting to make this their movement, when the reality is the first kernels of the Occupy Wall Street movement started with disgruntled and disenfranchised youth on social internet sites like 4chan who were tired of watching companies post "not hiring" signs along side their record profit reports. The next step is for Democratic politicians to steal the key talking points, twist them in a way that will assuage the masses, yet will not change one facet of the corporatist greed machine that keeps them in power. Thus, the masses will feel "heard," and will disperse and let the politicians handle the "change." All the while the Republican job will be to demonize, demoralize, and delegitimize the movement as the rantings of insane, unwashed layabouts with nothing better to do than disrupt "real" business. That's how the money powers want it to happen, at least. So far, so good. The game is rigged folks. There is no socialist plot, no facist plot, no left or right side to align with. Another student came into her office and mentioned Occupy Wall Street and how it's spreading throughout the country. She really urged me to attend and be supportive for change...I said, "Well, don't you think the people in power want us to be protesting? So they can enforce a military state not too long from now?" She agree with me. But still told me how important it is for the youth to have their voices heard. She agreed with me that we are going through a spiritual awakening. A lot of you are so judgmental of the subject, of the people who truly see faults in this world. Maybe they don't know everything, but do you? I can't say that Occupy Wall Street is a good thing, I can't say it's bad. I honestly don't know enough about this yet to give my opinion. But I was inspired today by my professor's lack of fear. What matters is UNITY. I see more unity in this protest than the people sitting at home, choosing to ignore what is coming. Protest or not, tptb will still be in control. Quoting: EazyD Exactly! Our news is the only news that is pretending its a leaderless, pointless rally that with fizzle out. The people afriad of this oncoming unity conciousness want to say that. TPTB are pullin the strings on this one. I believe that they are trying to take credit for it so they can steer it off coarse. We wont let them do that. Quoting: Constitutional American Wtf are we about to lose?? An oligarchy? How can anyone in their right mind defend the bankers? uuuuuuuuuuuh maybe because they REPAID TARP ? maybe the little fktards are a few years TOO LATE to PROTEST BS FROM 2008 ? maybe THEY should go and protest directly ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE ? as in the diMOcwappic party ? dodd, frank HUD FHA ---who runs THEM ALL ? the diMs. ...........Most banks have repaid their TARP money. As of Aug. 31, the Treasury had received $183 billion of the $205 billion distributed to financial institutions. The Treasury also got $26 billion from dividends, interest and stock, resulting in a slight profit for the program. ..Nine of the banks, including JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, were allowed to repay in June 2009. But regulators didn't give the go-ahead to the eight remaining banks, including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, PNC and Citigroup Inc., viewing them as weaker financially after conducting special stress tests...... We can change the world. Thanks for the reply my friend. I understand a lot of us who visit glp are very critical of the masses. Of the sheeple. But we cannot let this criticism lead into arrogance!! I see a lot of arrogant posts by users who more than likely aren't doing much to change the system. A lot of those protestors have a lot of guts for being arrested, sure, some of their viewpoints may be misguided. Or they might not know as much as us glp users, nonetheless, I commend their efforts. Because there is something we cannot deny: change is on the horizon. A change in consciousness, a change in humanity, and a change in human unity. Sure, of course TPTB want to take control of this protest, I'm sure they already have a complete game plan. But what's the point of sitting around and being judgmental. Who are we to judge? In this game the lesson's in your eyes to see, though things change, the future's still inside of me. We must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark, so you will always be in my heart, with unconditional Love. |

Who gives a shit who is behind it... they won't get exactly what they want anyways. Do you really think the corporations that supported the Tea Party really enjoy the sentiment that helped boost Ron Paul, a candidate who will likely end corporate welfare? These people represent many spectrums of the political facet. I hate globalists, but I also hate the presumption on this forum that all people in the protests are globalists. This is simply not true. It's the same assumption that liberal media makes about Tea Party protesters (racist/hillbillies) |
