First: Humans are pale prototypes of their full biological potential.
See: [link to journeytoforever.org]
For the past 5 years I've consumed a 100% raw diet. The diet includes not just fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts but also a copious amount of raw meat, raw dairy and raw eggs.
Alongside meat, I eat the organs and glands of wild ruminants and grass-fed cattle. I also drink blood of these animals.
I ingest plenty of completely unheated, raw honey.
I very, very rarely drink water.
B/C I do not cook my food, there is no misplaced water. H2O that is bound cellularly (i.e. in food cells) is utilized efficiently. Very few waters (with the exception of certain spring waters) hydrate the body. Most waters leach minerals and disrupt enzymatic and digestive processes.
I do not get thirsty.
My health is impeccable. I sleep a few hours per night. Muscle mass and physique is maintained w/o exercise.
5 years ago, my bodily health was in a dire condition. I was experiencing severe degeneration.
Humans can be incredibly resilient.
However, very few modern humans are.
The earth is also incredibly resilient (we have already lived through the equivalent of many nuclear wars):

Secondly; do not buy into the bacteria theory of disease. Bacteria, molds, fungi, parasites feed upon degenerative tissue and waste in the human body. They do not indiscriminately invade and devour healthy cellular terrain.

STUDIES UTILIZING BACTERIA:
"Bacterial targeting of tumours is an important anti-cancer strategy" ["Role of nitric oxide in Salmonella typhimurium-mediated cancer cell killing". BMC Cancer. 2010 Apr 17;10:146. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
"Spontaneous regression of tumors in patients with concurrent bacterial infections was described for the first time over 300 years ago. Two centuries later, it was William Coley who developed pioneering work on a treatment strategy using bacteria. He applied---with remarkable results---a combination of Streptococcus pyogenes and Serratia marcescens to patients suffering from inoperable tumors[2,3]. With the emergence of modern chemotherapy, bacteriological therapy of cancer fell more and more into oblivion. However, in 1976 Morales et al reintroduced the principle into the clinic with the development of a treatment regimen for superficial bladder cancer using bacillus Calmette-Guerin. Remarkably, this therapy is still in use today" ["Bacteriolytic therapy of experimental pancreatic carcinoma". World J Gastroenterol. 2010 July 28; 16(28): 3546-3552. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
"The use of bacteria for anticancer purposes was first attempted over 100 years ago. Recently, several strains of Salmonella have been shown to possess anticancer activity and, interestingly, Salmonella possesses a unique propensity to track to tumour tissue in vivo. This review presents the use of Salmonella for cancer immunotherapy, including the distinguishing characteristics of this organism and preclinical as well as clinical data" ["Cancer immunotherapy based on the killing of Salmonella typhimurium-infected tumour cells". Expert Opin Biol Ther. 2005 Apr;5(4):443-9. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Toxin-producing strains of E. coli cause destruction of cancer cells ["Verotoxin induces rapid elimination of human renal tumor xenografts in SCID mice". J Urol. 2004 Mar;171(3):1309-13. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
"When spores of the anaerobic bacterium Clostridium novyi-NT are systemically injected into animals, they germinate exclusively within the hypoxic [low-oxygen] regions of cancers. The germinated bacteria destroy adjacent tumor cells but spare a rim of well oxygenated tumor cells that subsequently expand. Surprisingly, we found that approximately 30% of mice treated with such spores were cured of their cancers despite the viable tumor rim initially remaining after spore germination. The mechanism underlying this effect was shown to be immune-mediated, because cured animals rejected a subsequent challenge of the same tumor. Similar effects were observed in rabbits with intrahepatic tumors. It was particularly notable that the induced immune response, when combined with the bacteriolytic effects of C. novyi-NT, could eradicate large established tumors" [Bacteriolytic therapy can generate a potent immune response against experimental tumors". Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2004 Oct 19;101(42):15172-7. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
"In the work described here we attempted to exploit the fact that necrotic regions exist only within tumors and not in normal tissues. We wished to develop a toxic agent that could be specifically delivered to these areas and, in theory, could kill surrounding viable tumor cells. We chose to investigate anaerobic bacteria for this purpose. It has been recognized for half a century that such bacteria could selectively proliferate in the hypoxic regions of tumors (3-18)" ["Combination bacteriolytic therapy for the treatment of experimental tumors". Epub 2001 Nov 27. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Bacteria are so efficient at targeting tumors that they're being specifically developed in the laboratory for the purpose ["Tumor-targeting amino acid auxotrophic Salmonella typhimurium". Amino Acids. 2009 Sep;37(3):509-21. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Apart from solid tumors, and as to blood cancer, daycare attendance, a surrogate marker of more exposure to infectious agents, is associated with lower risk of leukemia ["Daycare attendance and risk of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukaemia". Br J Cancer. 2002 May 6;86(9):1419-24. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] ["Infections in early life and risk of childhood ALL [acute lymphoblastic leukemia]". Br J Cancer. 2009 Mar 10;100(5):863.Br J Cancer. 2009 Mar 10;100(5):863. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
It's not natural foods and germs that are menacing humans. "everal occupations may increase the risk of acute leukemia, particularly occupations related to petroleum products, rubber, nuclear energy, munitions, plastics, and electronics manufacturing. Differences were noted according to histological type. Other occupations and hobbies were not clearly associated with risk" ["Occupation, hobbies, and acute leukemia in adults". Leuk Res. 2005 Oct;29(10):1117-30. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
"Immunoregulation of CNS autoimmunity by helminth and mycobacterial infections". Immunol Lett. 2002 Jun 3;82(1-2):101-10. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

"Mycobacteria-induced suppression of autoimmunity in the central nervous system". J Neuroimmune Pharmacol. 2010 Jun;5(2):210-9. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
In 1998 it was remarked, "Social critics sometimes proclaim that microbes seem to have supplanted the Soviets as a dire threat to the American way of life. Headlines trumpet the perils of flesheating bacteria and the deadly bugs lurking in raw hamburger. Although the U.S. won the cold war, some new evidence suggests that unless we learn to live with them, the bugs may win the battle in the hot zone" ["The E. coli are coming". Sci Am. 1998 Nov;279(5):29. [link to web2.slc.qc.ca]
As Aajonus says, microbes break down the body's waste:

In fact, parasites are being used by mainstream researchers to reverse disease, and the rise of disease is being attributed to a lack of worm infection:

Along the same thread of thought, virus and cancer are absolutely not what we have been told. They are innate bodily processes.
According to modern mythology, viruses overtake host cells and begin self-replicating, indiscriminately. This is not true.
Viruses aren't a problem and never were. Viruses are like blueprints (or the result of blueprints) utilized by host cells for various purposes. Viruses do not self-replicate but are manufactured via host cells (protein waste, rna, dna, etc.). Their mode of action is dissolution. Dissolution of what? It depends. Toxic cellular debris, dead cells.
Unfortunately we live in a world saturated w/ synthetic compounds and anti-biotic substances. Such materials destroy 'life' including most microcosmic life. This sets up an environment wherein some other form of dissolving agent must be used in lieu of bacteria, fungus, etc. Living agents would normally consume toxic cells, excreting far less in volume and reducing it to something benign. But there are certain industrial compounds that even they cannot touch w/o dying off.
A virus is not alive; but they are programmed in a sense. Host cells target surrounding tissue in a clean-up effort using viruses. They are like the original, all-natural cleaner. The only reason viruses are adopted by the cellular terrain is b/c we live in a processed world. We therefore harbor processed resins within our cellular environment.
Stop cooking. Do not consume processed food. Live close to the natural world. Discard as many synthetic materials as possible in your life. No more need for using viruses. They go dormant (b/c they are simply programs).
Hence, why we see so many with a so-called asymptomatic virus. They are asymptomatic b/c there is no need for that virus to be engaged any longer (or at that point in time).
How can we detoxify radiation? With foods. Avocados and oranges. Raw coconut cream. Berries. Raw honey.
Eat copious amounts of raw fat.
Raw fat is wholly different from heated fat. Raw fats maintain viability and capacity to exchange ionic impulses across the cell membrane. Heated fats are denatured and thus lose very important properties. Most modern humans are devoid of efficient cellular fat stores. Fats bind with toxic compounds INCLUDING RADIATION. Raw fats act far more efficiently.
Lastly, cancer cells are manufactured by the cellular terrain and interlaced into fibrous tissue as a means to dissolve toxic waste and dead cell build-up. They are our best friends. When you make war with cancer you make war with the body itself. Cancer was never our enemy. The mass reported deaths from cancer are mis-labeled. Cancer is the scapegoat. The causative factor in death is RADIATION & CHEMICAL THERAPY. Cancer does not kill. The treatments foisted upon the public to destroy this mythological beast are what kill. Cancer will always take the blame....
I'm all typed out for now. Send me a private message if you would like to learn more. I just can't continue withholding this information any longer. Thanks for reading.

amen to the raw diet reverend!
bacteria (& foreign cells et al) can be a sticky subject.... without any proof, i maintain that once upon a time a have little doubt bacteria that would vripple a person today would have lived a happy-litte-symbiotic-life with many a humnan being... until we became the pale prototypes you correectly identify... now they run amok in us!
