my2centsworth User ID: 1307594 Canada 10/10/2011 12:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Last night I also saw an almost rainbow like circle around the moon. the red, orange and yellow were very clear to see ... The green, blue and mauve were dim, but those colours were there... I got my camera out and took picture after picture, trying to pick those colours up.. But all that the pictures showed was a bit of brightness around a very distant moon.... I ended up deleting those pictures. I wondered if the ring I saw around the moon last night was due to smoke from wild fires in the atmosphere. |

Seriously', its the light of the moon refracting throughnairborne icevcrystals, happens in cold humid weather. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1550737 I've seen many rings around the moon in my life, but this was the first time it looked the way it did last night.... Like a firey rainbow. It was 17degrees Celsius out last night ... So not what I would consider cold for this time of the year. There were a few clouds that floated across the moon, but they weren't even thick enough to hide the moon, you could still see the moon and the ring of colour through the clouds. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1550737 Im in trinidad its hot as hell and i saw the same thing so NOPE ! lol they say the same thing about rainbow halos around the sun. i saw one on a sunny afternoon with blue skies. it was 43 degrees (burning hot) and they claim it's caused by ice crystals. typical pistachio science bullshit! celestial alignments are the root cause! I'd say chemmies are the culprit today. Happens all the time here in the heavy spray zone. What is surprising is that you are surprised. You should look up more. Have a lovely day... |

It is METALLIC particles in the atmosphere that are causing these phenomena; mainly Aluminum. Say hello to the after effect of Stratospheric Aerosol Engineering, aka Chemtrails. The Truth About Thread: The FINAL EVENTS Of Bible Prophecy "We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist." - Martin Luther (Aug. 18, 1520) "While God has given ample evidence for faith, He will never remove all excuse for unbelief. All who look for hooks to hang their doubts upon will find them. And those who refuse to accept and obey God's Word until every objection has been removed, and there is no longer an opportunity for doubt, will never come to the light" (The Great Controversy, p. 527). "Jesus did not come to change the law, but he came to explain it, and that very fact shows that it remains, for there is no need to explain that which is abrogated." - Charles Spurgeon "Jesuit Adam Weishaupt established the modern version of the Illuminati specifically to be a front organization behind which the Jesuits could hide. After being formally abolished by Pope Clement XIV in 1773, the Jesuits used the Illuminati and other organizations to carry out their operations. Thus, the front organizations would be blamed for the trouble caused by the Jesuits." Bill Hughes (Author of The Secret Terrorists and The Enemy Unmasked) |

So dispite the fact that the phenomenon can be completely described by ice crystals [link to hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu] [link to www.atoptics.co.uk] Has been described as ice crystals since the 1930s Currie, B. W., Ice Crystals and Halo Phenomena, Monthly Weather Review, vol. 63, issue 2, p. 57 (1935) And recorded by the Greeks and Romans, you think it has to be metallic particles. |
