I agree with you. Vaccines have saved so many lives that people are now taking this enormous benefit for granted and focussing on the rare cases where a vaccine causes harm.

In the days before vaccination, most kids didn't live long enough to become adults. Every family expected some of their children to die. It was a sad but accepted fact of life.

Today the children live and the parents get all upset when one kid out of 6 million or something like that has a bad reaction to a vaccine. In the past that kid, and many of the other 6 million, would have died anyway.
