When times get tough the first things to go are the luxury items.
Fancy new cars, maid service, lawn service, etc, etc,.
So, if you figure you won't be impacted by the recession and you are safe from crashing, think again.
Even in a place where the economy is stable, the business I work in is experiencing a slowdown, effecting everyone.
I have been working steady since I was 14, survived the crash of the late seventies, sold my first house when interest rates rose to 19% then and didn't buy another until years later.
Anyone worth their salt can see what the causes of this collapse are, and it sure as hell isn't the peon workers that did it.
