I've tried to "face" one...I FLIPPED out instead. Quoting: Aiyanna I think clown fear is completely rational, its rational to be scared of somebody whose face is covered, acting in a peculiar way, because you cannot gauge true intentions. People make fun of phobias of snakes or spiders, but they are quite often poisonous so the fear is rational. Fear of heights, perfectly rational. Fear of jellybeans, or corn on the cob is just weird for example. I dont fear clowns or spiders but balloons FREAK ME OUT!!! Far from it, therefore, they are a threat to your subconscious. You have a very real cause to fear them and are completely justified. I don't trust them, but neither do I fear them. I do not trust politicians either, and for much the same reason. I'm 59, by the way. |
