Not a problem at all. I just didn't want anyone to give up on god because one man was wrong about something. I have a feeling many will lose their faith over this and finding people with faith is rare these days. Thanks for the karma :) it was my first lol. Take care and keep the faith :)

thank you very much I'm glad at least one person liked it :) I know exactly what you mean there was a period in my life while I was in college where I started to question my faith and I couldn't help but notice my life was going down hill the more I doubted. I won't go into the grimy details but I realized my relationship with god was lacking on my part and I've been doing much better since I changed my ways and believed with all my heart again.

Faith is NEVER based on dates. FAITH is based on the absence of dates.

Faith and Belief gives one Light..to lose that is to plunge into the darkness ..the bottomless pit..grabbing at things trying to stop the fall..things that wont ..cant give solace or help

There is nothing that can fill you like Faith and Belief..it makes you fly spiritually and touch that other reality that is waiting behind the veil..waiting to be achnowledged and made real..precisley by believeing and having faith

Onthat path the Faith and Belief will be challenged over and over again..because only the worthy will make it..the ones that are strong and true

You do raise a very important point though either intentionally or not, people who really understand the text of the scriptures, and the implications, should have already moved away from preachers.
Acknowledging that belief and faith in God can only be reached with ones'self and God, there can never be a third party.

The third parties are where the corruption exists, and one must frown upon people who shout that they are an intermediary between Man and God. We all know when and whom started this process of 'God's claimed third party', in order to control and enslave the masses by teaching their own regurgitated, bastardised fable of Jesus Christ which ends up as worship of 'the Mother'.

i lost faith a long time ago.. i trust nothing but myself but im useless too so that being said i have no faith and no hope.. for iv done too long in hell and their is nothing to have faith in even though a part of me still looks forward to a better day.. a part of me at this point feels like cutting my wrists open just to see if il bleed.. yeh faith.. ;)

You're so right. I felt empty almost. Void of something I can't explain. I became bitter and stored a lot of anger towards others. I knew it was because I was losing touch with God, and I needed to fix that. I'm so glad I did I'm grateful I was able to solve my problem so easily. My eyes are open to many things now, and my heart is free of anger. Just trying my best to be a good person and love everyone even the ones we are taught to hate. It's sad to me that our government does that...teaches us to hate someone... I'm glad to hear there's others who believe too, especially on Glp lol. I find that pretty rare.

i have no friends.. im all alone in this dark corner of the world and no one gives a shit about me.. im boarding with family and they stress me out but they give me food and shelter so im thankful but i cant even afford cigarettes and its driving me crazy cause my life has gotten so useless after all iv been through.. there's nothing left for me here but death and that wont even come and thats what pisses me off the most.. just a repetitive cycle of bull shit that seems to be never ending..

Trust me you'll bleed. I don't know your story and I don't even try to think that for one second that your life was or wasn't hard, but you say you have no hope and yet you also say part of you looks forward to a better day. Is this not the exact definition of hope? Like I said before, religious zealots seem to do more harm than good so I'm not going to try and sway your descision or personal beliefs. I don't care for denominations friend, I hope you took from my post that faith is a personal affadavit between Man and God, I care not for any corporate houses of faith, wherever on the spectrum of Religion they reside.

Past is past, you shoul let go of what has happened and start fresh. 'Zero' your life and start rebuilding, maybe your life has been a quest for the wrong things to date, or maybe your have internal struggles that are guiding you, rather than clear thinking?

I hope you have someone close whom you can trust. You family sound like they care for you, why not talk to them?

thx guys.. seriously i dont know why i came on this thread but i seem to have renewed faith all of a sudden after doing exactly what you said by centering and doing a silent prayer.. much love to all that responded ;)

I cant say you're not going through a rough time and I'm just a 22 year old guy I dont have all the answers nor do I ever claim to, but consider this; not being able to afford cigarettes is a blessing in disguise. I used to smoke cigarettes among other things, and then all of a sudden I got really sick and pretty much had to quit smoking and it sucked... But guess what? I feel like a new man now! My lungs feel great! I can run more than two blocks without breathing like an asthmatic and my wallet got fatter from the money I saved, and my clothes no longer teamed of cigarettes which I was completely unaware of for the 5 or 6 years I smoked. And as for not having friends, the good thing about that, is God will always be your friend and you can tell God what ever you like. Plus you can always make new friends can't ya? It's always best to try and make the best out of a bad situation. I don't know your situation but I truly hope you can change it for the better! Good luck to you friend :)
