Not all of those books deal with topics exclusively pertaining to TSHTF situations. I think there is a lot of info there which is valuable to know anyway.

Get a Nook or Kindle, and download the files into it. Get a solar charger, just in case the power is out long term. Or you can charge it with the Bio-Lite camp stove. It makes electicity from the heat of the fire. It charges through a USB port. As long as you have small scraps of wood, or pine cones, you have power for your reader or phone.
