As a matter of fact I posted a thread about an EXTREMELY LARGE object with a large tail field and was so intensely bright in the sky for quite some time. I even gave the coordinates in the sky--- but there was little interest. Yes, It was a wonderful show.-- Although, that one object was gigantic-- made the other stars look minuscule. |

I live just south of Austin, usually the stars are drowned out by the city lights. I always keep my eyes on the sky, the stars seem to be more visible the last couple days. Anonymous Coward User ID: 3991586 ![]() 10/25/2011 04:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Amazing! This guy has a dream "Night of a Thousands Stars" - just like what we saw in reality! Thread: Night of A Thousand Stars - October 28, 2011 |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 3991586 ![]() 10/25/2011 04:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I noticed that last week too. The stars were overly bright and the sky was the brightest dark blue I ever saw. Quoting: CyberCyrus Maybe it's worth mentioning that I was tripping on shrooms at that time ![]() But it was quite a show ![]() Ha, ha - we did not have "shrooms". Actually, I forgot to mention, like you said, the sky was an extra dark color - like velvet. My husband says the stars looked CLEARER but not as intense. Bill Cooper used to say you only see the stars because the water and the atmosphere act as a lens. If you are in orbit looking out, YOU DON'T SEE STARS. Look at some of the space station pictures and you will see it's black. SOMETHING HAS CHANGED IN THE ATMOSPHERE. |
